Ashley is a fourth year university student at Malaspina University
College in her hometown of Nanaimo, B.C. which is located on beautiful
Vancouver Island.
At Malaspina, Ashley is an honors student and will graduate shortly
with a major in history and a minor in political science. Always one
to explore all avenues Ashley is concurrently studying real estate
through UBC’s Sauder School of business. Through this education Ashley
hopes to one day attain it all and own her own real estate firm.
Although a large part of Ashley is intellect, a larger part of Ashley
is heart. From the donation of her allowance to the cancer society
when she was young, to her current participation in numerous runs
for charity, Ashley has always had a strong affinity for giving back.
As a fourth generation Canadian, Ashley is extremely proud of her
country and is a huge fan of Canada’s “unofficial” national sport,
hockey. When Ashley is not studying, volunteering or watching hockey,
she also likes to competitively bowl, sing, do crafts and play video
games.
Ashley’s personal motto is “impossible is not a fact, it is a challenge!”
and has exemplified this in her own life by losing over 70 pounds.
