Courtney Moore was born and raised in Kelowna BC, Canada; a city
she considers to be paradise on earth. After graduating from Okanagan
Mission Secondary School, Courtney attended Okanagan College and is
now a Certified Educational Assistant. After accomplishing all of
her goals she hopes to get a job with School District 23 as a Certified
Educational Assistant.
Courtney is a nineteen year old country girl who loves to sing, write
lyrics, and ride her horse Skyleigh. Courtney has chosen the BC Children's
Hospital as her main charity of choice because they saved her cousin's
life. So far, she has contributed to raising seventy-five thousand
dollars to the Children's Hospital. She has visited many schools in
her district to give children a workshop she created on bullying and
the seriousness it has on their future.
Courtney is honored to entitle herself the reigning Miss BC Interior
World 2007/2008. This talented young woman would be blessed to further
her title as she feels it is the experience of a lifetime, and the
greatest way to act as a positive role model in our country.
