Nineteen year old Hyo un is the reigning Miss Congeniality and a
title holder of the Miss British Columbia World pageant. She has participated
in numerous charity causes and public events across her province volunteering
and making awareness of her choice of charity, Kids Help Phone. It
still amazes Hyo un how this wonderful opportunity is given to her
and is thankful to have all the generous people in her life. She strongly
believes in her platform issue empowering women and embracing diversity.
She enjoys watching movies, traveling, taking yoga classes and working
out at the gym while listening to music. During her spare times she
plays violin, piano, flute, Korean traditional instruments and loves
to sing with the choir in her Willingdon church.
At 18, she was the youngest person to get trained by Air Canada as
a flight attendant with more than five years of excellent customer
services. However she plans to continue with her studies and transfer
to University of British Columbia in order to pursue a career in international
business. Hyo un is fluent in Korean and English with an intermediate
level of Mandarin and Japanese.
