Lena is currently in her third year at Queen’s University, pursuing
a dual degree of music voice performance and Life Sciences. She was
barely 17 years old when crowned Miss Chinese Toronto champion and
Miss Friendship in 2004, then represented Toronto in Miss Chinese
International 2005.
In her past years of charity work and community involvement, Lena
has worked with numerous organizations such as United Way, Sick Kids
Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, and Chinese Professional Women of Canada
(CPWC). She loves to share her gift of music by performing at fundraisers,
senior homes, and a recent solo Christmas recital—successfully raising
funds for SOS Children’s Villages Canada.
A Dean’s Honour List student and talented soprano, Lena also enjoys
playing the piano, painting, reading, playing badminton, shopping,
board games, and especially travelling. She is currently modeling
part time, for events such as Toronto L’Oreal Fashion Week and the
annual Canadian Fashion Designer Awards, where she won the Best Female
Model Award last year.
In the near future, Lena plans to complete her MCAT and apply to
medical school.
