Netasha Ramganesh is a second year student at York University. She
is currently working towards an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Business and Society. Previously, she completed a two year program
and received an Honours Diploma in Business Advertising at Sheridan
College. Netasha sees herself as an advocate of education. She strives
to understand both the political process and the social system that
Canada has to offer.
As a student and citizen, she is proud to be living in a country that
practices the rights to have freedom, equal opportunity, multiculturalism
and diversity. Being an interpersonal individual, she loves to meet
new people, understand their cultural traditions and be a helping
hand to anyone who needs it. An important aspect of her life is the
people she talks with or sees everyday. She finds it amazing to know
that everyone has a trait that is unique about them, and understanding
that characteristic is what helps her to understand who they are.
Astrobiology is a new subject that she is very interested in.
A part of her spare time is dedicated to learning more about the Universe,
making special occasion cakes, cooking and taking a walk downtown
Toronto.
