Raïssa Nkuba is19 years old she lives in Ottawa, Ontario. She
was born in Congo, and moved to Zambia at age six. After Zambia she
moved to Jamaica for about 3 years. During her stay in Jamaica she
took part in a lot of community service, she used to help blind children
with their homework twice a week after school. Raïssa moved to
Canada 4 years ago and really loves it. She is really pleased to be
a Canadian Citizen because Canada has given her the opportunity to
be the best that she can be.
Raïssa speaks five different languages; French, English, Swahili,
Tshiluba and Lingala. Living in so many different countries has given
her the opportunity to understand different cultures. Raïssa
graduated from high school at 16 years of age & is currently attending
Carleton University where she studying Psychology and Law. She is
also a part time model and likes to travel, play soccer and watch
basketball in her spare time.
Raïssa’s dream is to help her family back in Africa who are
currently struggling in the war.
They barely have anything to eat or drink and she wants to take them
out of that misery one day.
